Pattern Testing

New patterns in testing.

A carefully selected group of sewists makes new BARBARA et Co. patterns before they join the collection.

Applications are welcome from sewists who enjoy considered details, care about fit, and share clear, constructive feedback.

Application

The following information is helpful for an application:

• Sewing experience and preferred garments.
• Usual sewing-pattern size and preferred language: English or German.
• A few photos or a link to examples of previous sewing projects.
• Links to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or other sewing profiles, if sewing projects are shared online.

Applications are welcome even when no test is currently open. Selection depends on each pattern and its requirements.

Process and participation

When a suitable opportunity arises, information is provided about the pattern, schedule, what is provided in return, and any expectations for feedback, photos, or social posts. All details are agreed before a decision to participate.

An application is an expression of interest and does not guarantee a place in a test.
